Sapien, also known as AskSapien after its website asksapien.ai, is an AI market research platform built by Outrove Inc., a Y Combinator Summer 2025 company. It uses simulated audiences to explore how buyers might respond to products, prices and campaigns. Our team builds the audience, runs the research and helps explain the findings in an interactive report, with comparisons and recommendations for the decision you need to make.
From a question to a comparison
We help research, product and marketing teams compare product concepts, offers, prices and campaign alternatives before committing resources. A study starts with the buyers who face that choice and the alternatives available to them.
Our team builds a simulated audience, runs surveys, qualitative interviews or comparison tests, and helps interpret the findings. You receive an interactive report with segment comparisons and recommendations, can explore the responses behind the findings and ask follow-up questions of the same population.

How to read the audience and result
Sapien builds simulated audiences using consumer and research information. Customer data and previous research can add relevant context. Which sources cover the audience and decision matters more than how vivid a simulated response sounds.
A simulated interview does not record a conversation with an actual customer. Our accuracy article shows individual comparisons, measures and disagreements so you can ask for evidence that fits your study. Purchases, product use and group interaction need evidence suited to those outcomes.
